Inspired by lace as a child, Soomi Lee has established her artistic world over the years through her exploration of handicraft design and sculpture.

Silver, a material Lee frequently uses in her works, and lace, her primary motif, are both characterized by a delicate appearance but also project a sense of strength and firmness.

Lee's works, which straddle the border between handicrafts and sculpture, offer solace to viewers and serve as a refuge, albeit a temporary one, for modern people who have become exhausted by daily routines.

Lee has said that she heals herself "by connecting, repairing, and loving all abandoned things in the world." Likewise, we hope that this exhibition gives visitors an opportunity to take some time to reaffirm themselves and experience emotional healing.
